Montgomery County Ohio College Promise held its annual Celebrating Success Dinner on Monday August 4th. This event was attended by mentors, students, families, donors, college representatives, and local school leaders. Thank you to the more than 275 attendees who were there to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the College Promise program and kick-off the 2025-26 academic year.

At this event, we welcomed our 15th Cohort of College Promise Scholars. These freshmen recently began their high school experience at area high schools, and their mentors will be there to support them every step of the way.

For this banner year, we had the privilege of hearing from our current Board Chair, Tony Taylor, who spoke on behalf of the organization but also shared insights about his father’s vision when founding the program. We appreciate Tony’s leadership and are grateful for his family’s involvement over the years.

We also were able to hear from College Promise alumna Rhyan Allen, who graduated from Trotwood-Madison High School and Wright State University. She shared her experience in the program and offered words of encouragement for the new scholars set to begin their journey. Her message certainly resonated with all who were in attendance that evening.

Many thanks to everyone who made this a wonderful event.  We are excited for a great start to the school year!
