MCOCP Pizza Parties
This spring, College Promise visited high schools for our annual pizza parities. These events provided an opportunity to meet with students and mentors outside of their weekly meetings. Students could take a break from their busy schedules and be recognized for all their hard work.
While our mentors meet with their students every week, many students in the program do not have much of a chance to interact with other College Promise Scholars at their high school. The pizza parties were an opportunity for our students to build community and hopefully connect with each other more regularly. For program staff, it was a chance to reconnect and answer any questions that had come up for our students and mentors.

We appreciate each of the schools for being so welcoming and accommodating. In addition, we are grateful for the Dayton Original Pizza Factory for being our preferred vendor for these events. Hopefully, the pizza parties were a nice break for everyone for the final push to the end of the year!
