Spring Pizza Parties

Montgomery County Ohio College Promise once again held pizza parties at area high schools for College Promise Scholars and their Mentors.
This year, the gatherings took place at Brookville, Centerville, Chaminade-Julienne, DECA, Dunbar, Meadowdale, Miamisburg, Northmont, Northridge, Stebbins, Stivers, Trotwood-Madison, Valley View, Wayne, and West Carrollton high schools.
Similar to last year, this forum provides a number of great benefits for participants in the program:
- Students were able to identify and connect with other students who are part of the program
- Seniors were able to impart words of wisdom to other students in the room and their mentors
- Mentors were able to share more about their relationship with their student and hopefully be able to connect with other mentors going forward
- College Promise staff were able to see most of the scholars in the building, celebrate their successes, and troubleshoot any issues
We were thrilled to see so many students, mentors, and school staff turn out for these events. College Promise looks forward to providing these and other engagement opportunities on an annual basis.
