Student Spotlight: Jeff Banis
Jeff Banis, a 2018 graduate of Dixie High School, is part of the Montgomery County Ohio College Promise Program. Jeff will graduate this spring from the University of Dayton through the Flyer Promise Program with a double major in Management Information Systems and Business Economics.
Jeff’s favorite part about college has been being involved and meeting new friends with similar interests. He said, “With the College Promise program, I was able to focus on my academics, stress less about my financial situation, and keep my grades up.”
Jeff shared that he has remained in contact with his mentor, Bob Lloyd. He said, “He has continued to give me advice regarding my education, social interactions, and professional experience.”
After college, Jeff has accepted a position with Epic Systems as a Technical Solutions Engineer in Madison, Wisconsin. We wish him the best on this first step in his career!
